EOS Essential Photography Workshop @ KL/Selangor

Course Introduction:

• Besides understanding theories and functions of your EOS DSLR, you will familiarize with your camera and be in control. You will be coached in a fun and informative practical session by the trainer plus explore slightly more advanced features in picture taking. You will also receive an official Canon accredited certification after completion. Certificates will be sent via postage / courier within 14 working days.


• Difficulty Level : Beginner – Intermediate

Course Outline:

1. Comprehensive insights into the basic operations of your EOS Digital SLR Camera.
2. The Exposure Synergy
   • How each element affects exposure
     
   • Exposure compensation
     
   • Adjusting white balance
     
   • Setting ISO speed
3. Using the 3 essential modes: Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority.
   • Control the depth of field with aperture-priority mode
     
   • Express movement with shutter-priority mode
     
   • Controlling both aperture and shutter speed in manual mode
4. Fully utilizing the auto focus function.
5. Exploiting different metering modes and using histograms.
6. Choosing the right lens for the subject.
   
   • Tips on perfect interchangeable lenses.
7. A brief introduction of Digital Photo Professional (DPP) & EOS Movie.
8. Practical session – Photo Taking, Coaching and Sharing by the trainer.

Requirements for enrolment:

• Ownership of a Canon EOS Digital SLR camera.
• Bring along one (1) photograph (in your memory card: SD or CF) taken to be shared and improvement pointers will be given by the trainer.
• Bring along a card reader.
• Applicants should be 16 years old or above.

Terms & Conditions:

• No refund will be made once payment is received.
• The transfer of classes will not be accepted within 7 days prior to the commencement of course. Participants are not permitted to transfer into a different course and transfers will be subject to availability. Please note, no refund will be provided to absentee after confirmation has been made.
• Canon reserves the right to cancel classes due to special circumstances and insufficient enrolments. If so, participants will be notified of the alternative arrangements.
• If participants are found vandalizing school/venue property or that of the other students, behaving destructively or hinder the progress of the lesson then Canon will have the right to invalidate the student's status.
• Canon reserves the right to make any alterations to the course details when necessary without prior notice.
